The installation of the generator outlet special circuit breaker based on the fast vacuum circuit breaker(GVFC)technology is described.When the system short-circuit fault or the generator itself fault appeared,the device could quickly and effectively cut off the fault,protect the safe operation of the generator,and it has the significant effect on improving the reliability of auxiliary power,simplifying the relay protection,shortening the fault recovery time and improving the availability of the unit.
