Financial Integration and Coordinated Development of Urban Agglomeration

本文从区域金融发展的角度出发,分析了金融一体化对城市群经济协调发展的影响机制,并应用社会网络分析方法(SNA)构建金融一体化指标,对我国12个重点城市群金融一体化和区域经济协调发展程度进行测度,进而实证考察了金融一体化带来的区域经济协调发展效应。研究发现,金融一体化的确有助于缩小地区收入差距,且这种缩减效应主要通过加快区域内部经济要素流动和优化城市间产业结构来实现。本文还考察了金融一体化的经济协调发展效应在不同城市群之间的差异,发现在成渝城市群等发展型城市群中的促进效应更加明显。为实现金融一体化和城市群经济协调发展,进而促进区域经济协调发展提出了有针对性的对策建议。

The advancement of the financial integration process is a necessary condition for the optimization of the spatial allocation of financial resources and the coordinated development of regional economies.From the perspective of regional financial development,this paper analyzes the impact mechanism of financial integration on the coordinated development of urban agglomeration economies,and applies social network analysis methods to construct financial integration indicators,and financial integration and regional economic coordination for 12 key urban agglomerations in China.The degree of development is measured,and then the empirical effect of regional economic coordination brought about by financial integration is examined empirically.The study found that financial integration does help to narrow the regional income gap,and this reduction effect is mainly achieved by accelerating the flow of economic factors in the region and optimizing the industrial structure between cities.This paper also examines the differences between the economic coordinating development effects of financial integration in different urban agglomerations,and finds that the promotion effect in the developmental urban agglomerations such as Chengdu-Chongqing urban agglomerations is more obvious.The conclusions of this paper provide policy implications for accelerating the integration of urban agglomeration finance,promoting the flow of economic factors between cities and the upgrading of industrial structure,and thus promoting the coordinated development of regional economy.
