In Alice′s Adventures in Wonderland and its sequel,Lewis Carroll defies the didactic mode of traditional children′s literature and constructs a children′s fantasy world that is totally different from the real world but is similar in every way.This bold subversion reflects a spirit of degradation,which is reflected in the world feelings,character′s image and language of the story.The essence of this spirit of degradation is to detract from seriousness,to dissolve the authority and class of the adult world,and to show the pure and happy spirit of children.
