清学部编译图书局编纂《初等小学修身教科书》考述

A Research on the Elementary School Textbooks for Selfcultivation Compiled by the Book Compilation and Translation Bureau of the Ministry of Education in Late Qing Dynasty

清朝末年,随着"癸卯学制"颁布、科举制废除,新式学堂迅速发展。为满足新式学堂对新式教科书的需求,清学部成立编译图书局编纂各科教科书。本文对清学部编译图书局第一次编纂的《初等小学修身教科书》的出版时间、编纂者、内容和形式,以及出版后的修改和调整情况作梳理考证。

The introduction of the Kui-mao School System and the abolishment of the Chinese imperial examination system in late Qing Dynasty came with the rapid development of new-style schools.To meet their needs for new-style textbooks,the Ministry of Education of the Qing Dynasty set up the Compilation and Translation Bureau to compile textbooks of different subjects.The paper examines the publication time,editors,content and form of the Elementary School Textbooks for Self-cultivation compiled by the Bureau for the first time,as well as the amendments and adjustments to the textbooks after publication.
