摘要
作为新中国初期最主要的外贸工程,中国出口商品交易会(广交会)的启动使广州出现了社会主义外贸空间。该空间由几个相关部分组成:以海珠广场为中心的城市地标之规划设计与空间管理,外贸城市意象在不同媒介的符号化再现,以及展馆空间中的出口商品象征意义的形构。而随着广交会的开展,当地市民与外地商人群体间的利益或认知冲突,又使得社会主义外贸空间深具张力。此种状态恰是新中国初期广州社会主义城市空间的一个缩影。
As the most important foreign trade project in the early years of the People's Republic of China,Chinese Export Commodities Fair(Canton Fair)shapes the socialist foreign trade space in Guangzhou.This space includes several parts:the design and control of the urban landmark(Haizhu Square);the symbolic representation of the foreign trade urbanity in different media;and the formation of the export commodities'symbolic significance in the exhibition houses.With the development of Canton Fair,the conflicts between local citizens and the businessmen of other places shape the tension of socialist foreign trade space.This situation is a microcosm of Guangzhou's socialist urban space in the early years of the People's Republic of China.
