Restoration and Historical Evolution of Ningyuan Garden in Tianjin

宁园是近代天津地区最具影响力与代表性的一座公共园林。文章通过搜集和分析宁园各时期图文史料并结合现场调研对其进行相对有效的复原研究:首先对宁园的园林演变历程进行梳理;然后从山水结构、路网和建筑布局等方面总结各时期造园特点,并探究其造园主旨流变和园林空间演化的时代特征;最后通过分析宁园与城市文化发展的内在关联加强对这座近代园林历史原貌与文化内涵的认知。

Ningyuan is the most influential and representative public garden in Modern Tianjin."Through collecting andanalyzing the historical materials of the garden in different periods and combining with the field investigation,this papercarries out relatively effective restoration research.First of all,on the basis of sorting out the evolution process of thegarden,the gardening characteristics of landscape architecture,road network and architectural layout in differentperiods are summarized,and the temporal characteristics of the evolution of gardening theme and gardening space areexplored."Then through the analysis of the internal relationship between the garden and the development of urbanculture,we can strengthen the cognition of the original appearance and cultural connotation of the modern garden.
