功能对等理论视角下英文建筑工程投标书的汉译

Chinese Translation of Construction Project Bidding Documents from the Functional Equivalence Theory

本文以功能对等理论为基础,指出了投标书的类型和语用特点。论文重点介绍了功能对等理论在建筑工程投标书汉译中的应用,发现翻译英文建筑工程投标书应该强调功能对等理论的运用,注重词汇层面、文体、法律条款和句法层面的对等,并且英文建筑工程投标书的汉译应该在功能对等理论的指导下遵循翻译原则,达到翻译的最终效果,进而提高建筑工程投标书类的汉译质量。

Based on the Functional Equivalence Theory,this paper introduces the conception and rules of Functional Equivalence Theory,and points out the types and the pragmatics characteristics of bidding documents.This paper mainly introduces the application of functional equivalence theory in construction project bidding documents translation.The paper finds that translating English construction project bidding documents should stress application of Functional Equivalence Theory and be pay attention to equivalence at lexical level,literary form,law clauses,and syntactic level and the Chinese translation of English construction project bidding documents should follow the principles of translation under the guidance of Functional Equivalence Theory,so as to achieve the ultimate effect of translation.This paper aims to analyze how to apply the functional equivalence theory to guide the Chinese translation of construction project bidding documents and improve the quality of Chinese translation of bidding documents.
