洋场游魂:张春帆生平与《九尾龟》本事新考

The Life of Zhang Chunfan and a New Examination of the Affairs Behind Nine-Tailed Turtle

《九尾龟》是晚清“狭邪小说”的最重要代表。但是由于之前学术界对张春帆生平及《九尾龟》本事的研究略显欠缺,因此影响到了对《九尾龟》小说的整体评价和判断。本文根据新收集的张春帆的生平资料,对《九尾龟》小说中的某些人物和内容之本事进行了考证,认为《九尾龟》塑造了章秋谷这样一个表面上是才子加流氓,实际上是上海洋场游魂的典型形象。

Nine-Tailed Turtle is the most important representative of‘romance fictions’of late Qing Dynasty.However,due to the lack of scholarly research on the life of Zhang Chunfan and the deeds behind the story,the overall evaluation and judgement of Nine-Tailed Turtle has been understated.According to the newly collected information on the life of Zhang Chunfan,it is examined the affairs of certain characters and plots in the story,and is argued that Nine-Tailed Turtle has created a typical image through the character Zhang Qiugou,who is apparently a talent and a rogue,a wandering soul in the modern city.
