邓缵先自民国初期从广东来到新疆任职,历经17年,最终以身殉职。期间他做了大量反映新疆社会文化、政治经济面貌的旧体诗文。这些诗文在一定程度上还原了民国初期的新疆形象,是特定历史时期的新疆文化记忆,其中也蕴含着浓厚的家国情怀。

Deng Zuanxian came to Xinjiang from Guangdong in the early period of the Republic of China.After 17 year service,he died at his post.During this period,he composed a large number of the old style poems reflecting the social,cultural,political,and economic situation of Xinjiang.To a certain extent,these poems restore the image of Xinjiang in the early Republic of China.They are the cultural memory of Xinjiang in the specific historical period,and also contain rich patriotic feelings and family emotions.
