With the gradual maturity of 5G network,mobile communication technology is more and more widely used in the Internet of things.With the continuous development of Internet of things technology and the further maturity of 5G network,the Internet of things based on 5G is developing more and more rapidly,and has become an indispensable part of social life.Therefore,this paper analyzes the key technologies of 5G,introduces the application of the Internet of things in the power and medical industries,and then summarizes the development direction of the Internet of things based on 5G technology.
