写生与想象的杂糅——赵之谦的博物画研究

The Combination of Sketches from Nature and Imagination: A Study of the Natural History Drawings by Zhao Zhiqian

《瓯中物产卷》与《异鱼图》是赵之谦绘制的两件"博物画"。这两件作品的题材和形式都较为特殊,画中诸种海洋生物,有的是画家写生得来,有的则完全是想象出的形象。作为清末的著名文人画家,赵之谦巧妙地将文人画的经典样式和技巧融入图谱性的博物画之中,创作出中国艺术史上殊为罕见的作品。

Ouzhong’s Products and Strange Fish are two natural history drawings by Zhao Zhiqian,a well-known nineteenth century Chinese painter.The themes and forms of these two works are very special,as some of the marine creatures are sketches from nature,while some of the characters were imagined by the painter.These are rarely seen masterpieces produced by the painter’s incorporation of the classic patterns and the skills of the literati painting into natural history drawing.
