Visions and Methods of Chinese Classical Literature Research

对于古代文学研究,研究者如果不能达到“考证”与"理论"兼备的理想程度,至少也要认清自己的能力与不足,在擅长的方面加以深入。自我审视之外,也有必要了解他人的治学路径和经验,中日学者在"考证"和“理论”方面各有所长,应该相互借鉴。问题意识很重要,无论是运用接受理论还是解构主义等理论,"理论"不应该先于“问题”。独特的视角来自对社会和自我的审视,来自对普遍现象和基本话题的留心与思考。唐、宋诗优劣的学术争论,与中国诗歌的历史已经在北宋到达极点、有关,而这一争论实际意义不大,应关注唐、宋诗两者间的差异。尽管从事中国古典文学研究的日本学者在孜孜不倦地探索,中国学在日本今后的发展状况是令人担忧的。

Even if the researchers of ancient literature are not excellent both at"textual research" and“theoretical research”,they should recognize their own abilities and inabilities,then develop their strengths.Besides self-examination,it is necessary to understand the academic approaches and others,experience.Chinese and Japanese scholars both have their own advantages in“textual research”and“theoretical research”,so they should learn from each other.Problem awareness is very important.Every theory including the Reception Aesthetic and Deconstructivism,cant't be used unless you find a real problem.The unique perspective comes from the examination of society and self,and also comes from the attentiveness towards and thinking of common phenomena and basic topics.The academic debate on grading Tang and Song poetry doesn't make much sense.We should be more concerned with difference between Tang and Song poetry.Although Japanese scholars of classical Chinese Literature are trying certainly hard to work,the future of Chinese Studies in Japan is uncertain.
