The application of ideological and political education in Integrated English course is an important part of English major teaching reform and a key measure to realize president XI Jin-ping’s teaching concept of"to educate the students from the whole process and all aspects of teaching".The paper tries to achieve the integrated teaching objectives of mastering the language knowledge and skills as well as cultivating political and moral sense by making specific teaching aims of ideological and political education,reorganizing the teaching content via enriching ideological and political elements,updating teaching methods and developing an blended teaching evaluation pattern,so as to develop a new type of foreign language talents with high humanistic quality and ideological and political consciousness.
