摘要
外语的工具性和人文性是相辅相成的。在大学英语课程中融入英美文学的内容或课程一方面能进一步提高学生的英语水平,另一方面能提高学生的文学修养和人文素质,扩大文化视野,提高跨文化交际能力。对于世界观人生观价值观正在形成的大学生来说,英美成长小说能够给予他们启示指引,鼓舞他们不断前进。尤其是在当前课程教育中融入思政内容的背景下,通识课"英美成长小说导读"是非常有意义的。本文介绍了成长小说类型,从成长的角度解读了一些英美经典小说和当代小说,在多个学期的教学实践基础上,探讨了通识课"英美成长小说导读"的教学方法,总结归纳了学生的教学反馈。
A foreign language is both a tool and a humanity,which complement each other.Integration of British and American literature into college English can help further enhance students’English.On the other hand,it can help improve the student’s literary culture and humanity quality,broaden their cultural horizon,and improve their cross-culture communication ability.British and American Bildungsroman can inspire,guide and encourage students whose world outlook,life outlook and values are just forming.In the context of integration of ideological content into teaching,this course is especially significant.This paper introduces the genre of Bildungsroman and interprets some classical and contemporary British and American novels and,based on several semesters of teaching practice,summarizes the students’feedback on this course.
