With the passage of time,the rapid development of economy and technology,the living standard and quality of life of Chinese people have been significantly improved.At present,people begin to pay attention to the overall quality of the environment and begin to have the awareness of environmental protection.Therefore,it is imperative to carry out environmental assessment under the new situation of environmental protection,and environmental assessment can ensure the sustainable development of ecological environment and China’s economy.Therefore,in order to ensure the smooth development of environmental assessment under the new situation of environmental protection,this paper discusses the existing problems and proposed measures of environmental assessment under the new situation of environmental protection in China.
