The Present Situation of Vocational Education in Xinjiang--A Case of Urumqi City

职业教育作为类型教育,在国民经济和社会发展中具有不可替代的作用。随着经济结构的调整和新旧动能转换,对职业教育人才培养提出新的要求。乌鲁木齐市作为丝绸之路核心区建设,加快职业教育的改革,提高职业教育办学水平,培养高素质技术技能型人才,对首府社会稳定、经济发展和民生改善具有重要意义。

Vocational education,as a type of education,plays an irreplaceable role in the development of China’s econo⁃my and society.With the adjustment of economic structure and the conversion of new and old kinetic energy,new require⁃ments are put forward for the cultivation of talents in vocational education.Urumqi,as the core area of the Silk Road,will speed up the reform of vocational education,raise the level of running vocational education and train high-quality person⁃nel with professional skills,which is of great significance for the economic development,social stability and the improve⁃ment of people’s livelihood.
