空间外溢视角下的科技金融与区域经济增长质量

Scientific and Technological Finance and Quality of Regional Economic Growth:From the Perspective of Spatial Spillover

科技金融发展有助于推动我国经济结构调整,实现产业结构的转型升级,从而促进经济的高质量增长。以空间外溢为视角,基于2009-2017年我国省级面板数据,利用地理距离和经济特征距离构建空间权重矩阵,采用空间杜宾模型分析科技金融发展对经济增长质量的影响。研究发现,我国科技金融发展存在着“东强西弱”的区域性特征,与区域间的经济增长存在着空间匹配性;科技金融发展对经济增长不仅会产生区域内的溢出效应,还会产生区域间的溢出效应。因此,为促进区域间经济的良性互动以及东、中、西部的均衡发展,要将科技金融发展和区域经济增长质量的空间关联作为未来的重点,强化其正向溢出效应,打造区域间协同发展的新格局。

The development of scientific and technological finance can help to promote the adjustment of China’s economic structure and realize the upgrading and transformation of the industrial structure, thereby promoting high-quality economic growth. From the perspective of spatial spillover and based on China’s inter-provincial panel data from 2009 to 2017, this paper makes use of the geographical distance and the economic characteristic distance to construct a spatial weight matrix and employs the spatial Durbin model to analyze the impact of the scientific and technological finance development on the quality of economic growth. The findings show that there exist regional characteristics of"strong in the east and weak in the west"in the development of China’s scientific and technological finance, which has spatial matching attribute with inter-regional economic growth. The development of scientific and technological finance will produce not only regional spillover effects but also inter-regional spillover effects on economic growth. Therefore, in order to promote the benign interaction between the regional economies and the balanced development of eastern, central and western regions, it is necessary to make the spatial correlation between the development of scientific and technological finance and the quality of regional economic growth the focus in the future, to strengthen its positive spillover effect, and to mold a new pattern of inter-regional coordinated development.
