Building height extraction with full waveform decomposition of spaceborne laser altimetry

摘要 针对全波形分解中弱子波形提取困难和建筑高度反演精度不高等问题,该文根据回波特征信息结合高分辨率影像分析城区不同建筑结构的回波特征,采用渐进剥离的全波形分解方法精确提取回波信号中的弱子波形及分量参数,并反演平顶和斜顶建筑的相对高度值,最后将实地测量值与建筑高度估算值进行线性回归分析,并与直接利用原始GLAS数据估算结果相比,该文方法的平均误差和均方根误差值分别下降了26.5%和25.6%,相关系数和拟合优度分别提升了0.55%和1.1%,结果表明该文方法在提取城区建筑高度方面具有一定的适用性和可靠性。 According to the problems of extracting weak waveforms in full waveform decomposition and the low accuracy of building height inversion,this paper analyzed the echo characteristics of different building structures in urban areas based on echo characteristic information combined with high resolution images. Weak sub-waveforms and component parameters in echo signals accurately were extracted by using full waveform decomposition method of progressive stripping and the relative height values of the flat-top and slant buildings were inverted. Finally,linear regression analysis was performed on the measured values of the field and the height of the building,and compared to estimating building height by using raw GLAS data directly,the mean error and root mean square error of the method in this paper decreased by 26.5% and 25.6% respectively,and the correlation coefficient and the goodness of fit increased by 0.55% and 1.1% respectively. The result showed that the method had certain applicability and reliability in extracting the height of urban buildings.
