Objective To analyze the influence of pharmaceutical intervention on medication compliance and adverse drug reactions in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods A total of 80 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were divided into control group and observation group according to random double-blind method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received pharmaceutical intervention. The blood glucose index, medication compliance and occurrence of adverse drug reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The fasting blood glucose,2 h postprandial blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin of the observation group were(6.12±1.18)mmol/L,(7.52±1.84)mmol/L and(6.57±1.59)%,which were lower than(8.37±1.53)mmol/L,(9.66±1.90)mmol/L and(8.58±1.64)%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The medication compliance rate and incidence of adverse drug reactions of the observation group were 95.00%and 2.50%,which were better than 80.00%and 17.50%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Pharmaceutical intervention in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus can stabilize the blood glucose level, reduce the incidence of adverse drug reactions, and improve the medication compliance of patients, which is worthy of clinical practice.
