Through a variety of narrative methods,Jane Reese strengthens the female discourse in the novel.From the perspective of feminist narratology,combining the opposition and integration of personal narrative,narrative perspective and story level.This paper discusses how the protagonist establishes female consciousness with the help of key female characters in the novel,and how to achieve self breakthrough,self-awareness and voice for himself under the restriction of patriarchal society.
