Preliminary design of mold flux for MiDa ultra high speed casting

摘要 随着长材连铸连轧技术(MiDa)在中国的逐步应用,超高拉速方坯对结晶器保护渣提出新的要求。结合MiDa工艺及产品特性,并结合高拉速保护渣所需的低熔化温度、低黏度、低凝固温度、高熔化速度、高夹杂物吸收速率特征,初步设计了5组保护渣成分,委托保护渣厂家进行试制,对试制品进行理化性能检测并提出优化方向,确定了超高拉速方坯结晶器保护渣的初步思路。 With the gradual application of MiDa process in China,new requirements for mold flux are put forward for ultra-high speed billet.Based on the characteristics of MiDa process and products,and the characteristics of low melting temperature,low viscosity,low solidification temperature,high melting speed and high inclusion absorption rate required by high pulling speed mold powder,this paper preliminarily designs five groups of components of mold powder,entrusts mold powder manufacturers to carry out trial production,tests the physical and chemical properties of the trial products,puts forward the optimization direction,and determines the preliminary idea of protection slag for ultra high pulling speed billet mold.
