“红苗”是苗族繁多支系中相对单一、稳定的支系,主要分布在今湘西、松桃等地,以“衣尚红”著称,其服饰被称为“红苗服饰”。苗族湘西型凤凰松桃式服饰则主要分布在湖南凤凰县的南部、西南、西北等地区和贵州松桃县的大部分地区,该区域为古代红苗居住区域,其语言、习俗、服饰保存相对完整。文章从红苗与苗族之隶属关系着手,理清红苗所涉地区,分析红苗的服饰形制;通过比较分析“红苗服饰”和“凤凰松桃式苗族服饰”结构形态异同,探讨湘西型凤凰松桃式苗族服饰的历史脉络和发展演变。

“Red Miao”is a relatively single and stable branch among the various branches of Miao nationality,mainly distributed in Western Hunan Province,Songtao and other places,known as“Red are the best color for clothes”,its clothing is called“Red Miao dress”.Xiangxi type Phoenix Songtao style clothing of Miao nationality is mainly distributed in the south,southwest and northwest of Fenghuang County,Hunan Province,and most of Songtao County,Guizhou Province.This area is an ancient red seedling living area,and its language,customs and clothing are relatively intact.This paper starts from the subordination relationship between the red seedling and the Miao nationality,clarifies the area involved in the red seedling,analyzes the clothing shape of the red seedling,and analyzes the similarities and differences between the“Red Miao Dress”and the“Phoenix Pine Peach Miao dress”.This paper discusses the historical context and development of Xiangxi Phoenix Songtao style Miao dress.
