从CET-4成绩看英语翻译和写作能力的发展——以四川警察学院为例

Development of Translation and Writing Competence based on CET4 Scores of Learners in Sichuan Police College

翻译和写作能力是语言综合能力的有机组成部分,但是在教学中得到的重视却不够。通过对非英语专业学习者CET-4综合成绩和分项成绩的分析,发现英语的综合能力影响翻译和写作能力的发展;翻译和写作能力与阅读能力的关系更为紧密。为了培养这两种能力,教师应该有针对性地进行教学。

Translation and writing competence are indispensable parts of comprehensive language ability;however they do not gain enough attention in teaching.It is found that comprehensive language ability influences the development of translation and writing competence,and translation and writing competence has comparatively closer relation with reading competence based on the analysis of non-English majors’scores in CET-4.Targeted teaching should be carried out to im⁃prove translation and writing competence.
