In the EPC general contract mode of our country,the design and construction general contract mode is being gradually popularized.Compared with the traditional contracting mode,the general contracting mode has unique advantages,it can manage and be responsible for the quality,safety and schedule of the contracted project,and it covers a wide range of fields,mainly has the construction,the municipal transportation,the environment improvement and so on.This paper briefly describes the characteristics and cost control of EPC design and construction general contract mode,the advantages of EPC design and construction general contract mode,and the key measures for project management of EPC design and construction general contract mode,the purpose is to provide reference for improving the cost control of EPC mode.
