With the rapid economic development,the construction industry market ushered in the development of the golden period,the demand is climbing,but due to various subjective and objective reasons,the project investment results are not satisfactory.In particular,the municipal engineering project has a long construction period,high requirements,a large impact area,many factors involved,and high risks.Even if the project construction main body has done the project cost budget work well before the project is launched,however,under the actual circumstances,may also encounter due to the cost accuracy rate is not enough to lead to the increase of project investment costs,and then affect the quality of the whole project.Based on this,the article takes the factors of controlling cost overruns in project investment as the starting point,probes into how to improve the accuracy of project cost budget,and points out the possible problems existing in the present cost work,furthermore,the control points and improvement measures are put forward to provide reference for the improvement of practical work.
