Opportunities and risks of the RMB internationalization under the construction of“one belt and one road”

虽然“一带一路”建设为人民币国际化提供了机遇并注入活力,但也面临着“一带一路”沿线各国文化差异和政策制定难度大等风险.本文对“一带一路”建设下人民币国际化的机遇和风险进行了讨论,比对结果表明,“一带一路”建设带给人民币国际化的是机遇大于风险.因此,我国应积极利用“一带一路”建设平台,增强人民币货币功能、完善人民币跨境支付系统,加强与“一带一路”沿线各国的交流与沟通.

Although the construction of the“one belt and one road”provides opportunities and vitality for the internationalization of RMB,it also faces risks such as cultural differences and great difficulty in policy making among countries along the“one belt and one road”.The comparative analysis of the opportunities and risks of the RMB internationalization under the construction of the“one belt and one road”was made in this paper.The comparison results show that the construction of“one belt and one road”brings more opportunities than risks to the RMB internationalization.Therefore,our country should actively use the construction platform of the“one belt and one road”to enhance the monetary function of RMB,improve the cross-border payment system of RMB,and strengthen exchanges and communication with countries along the“one belt and one road”.
