Investigation and Thoughts on the "Scientific Data" Course of iSchools Alliance Colleges under the E-Science Environment

摘要 随着E-Science环境形成,科学研究进入第四范式,丰富的科学数据管理实践迫切需要科学数据人才支持。调查国外iSchools联盟院校关于科学数据专业人才教育的课程设置可为我国科学数据专业人才的培养提供有益参考。基于文献分析法梳理相关研究成果,采用网络调查法,对iSchools联盟中的一级会员课程网页进行访问,从课程设置情况、课程名称和内容,以及教学方式3个方面对其进行分析,总结其科学数据课程设置特点,进而提出对我国LIS教育的启示,即建立完备的课程体系、采取多样的教学方式、建立动态化的考核机制和重视实践教育。 The formation of E-Science environment,the entry of scientific research into the fourth paradigm and the abundance of scientific data management practices have placed an urgent need on scientific data talents.The survey of the curriculum of scientific data professionals in the foreign iSchools alliance can provide useful reference for the cultivation of scientific data professionals in China.Based on the literature analysis method,this paper combs related research results,and uses the network survey method to visit the first-level member course webpage in the iSchools alliance,and analyzes it from three aspects:curriculum setting,course name and content,and teaching methods.This paper summarizes the characteristics of its scientific data curriculum,and then puts forward the enlightenment for LIS education in China:establishing a complete curriculum system,adopting a variety of teaching methods,establishing a dynamic assessment mechanism,and paying attention to practical education.
