新时代是青年全面发展、成就事业的好时代。青年一代的理想信念、精神状态、综合素质既能够体现一个国家的发展活力,又是增强国家核心竞争力的重要因素。新时代对青年政治素质提出了更高要求。我们应提升新时代青年对社会主义的认知认同度;扩展先进青年群体,缩小群体内差异;提升新时代青年对社会主义最终战胜资本主义的坚信度及对社会主义的践行度。只有具有针对性、创新性地提升新时代青年的政治素质,才能使新时代青年以奋斗姿态投身于中华民族伟大复兴中国梦的实践。

The new era is a good time for the all-round development and achievement of young people.The ideal beliefs,spiritual state and comprehensive quality of the young generation can not only reflect the vitality of a country’s development,but also is an important factor in enhancing the country’s core competitiveness.The new era puts forward higher requirements for the political quality of the youth.To improve the political quality of the youth in the new era,we must understand its connotation,characteristics and features,and put forward relevant basic requirements for the investigations and empirical researches on the socialist cognition of college students.We should enhance the cognitive recognition of socialism among the new-age youth,raise and expand the advanced youth group,reduce the differences within the group;deepen the conviction of the new-age youth in the ultimate victory of socialism over capitalism,and promote the socialist practice among them.Only by enhancing the political quality of the youth in the new era in a targeted and innovative manner can they devote themselves to the great practice of the China dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation in a striving manner.
