This paper first analyzes the concept and characteristics of intelligent meter and centralized reading system,and then analyzes the main causes of power marketing line loss,such as current transmission resistance,electrical equipment power loss and poor management of power marketing line loss.Finally,the paper discusses the application of smart meter and centralized reading system in line loss management of power marketing,hoping to improve management effect,reduce line loss and create higher economic benefits.
