摘要
温弗里德·塞巴尔德的《奥斯特里茨》,用独特的方式对于犹太大屠杀记忆进行了再次书写。作品呈现了纷繁复杂的"物"的意象,其中"玻璃"意象最具代表性,作品中的物化记忆本身具有虚拟模仿、隔离与模糊三个特征。玻璃与"物化"是同时期的产物,都是资本主义时期的纪念品,共同构成现代性的根源:一种对于现代资本主义文化与文明本身的深层焦虑,一种深切的危机意识与紧迫的变革意识。塞巴尔德的物化背后隐藏了更深层的潜在规则,展现了物化记忆自身的独特之处。
Austerlitz written by W.G.Sebald, uses special ways to rewrite Holocaust. There are a great number of images of objects, and among them, the artificial glass product is the most representative one. Reification memory in the work has three characteristics: virtual imitation, isolation and fuzziness. Glass and reification are the products of the same period. They are both souvenirs of the capitalist period. They together constitute the root of modernity——a deep anxiety about the culture and civilization of modern capitalism, a deep sense of crisis and an urgent sense of change. Behind Sebald’s reification, there are deeper underlying rules. They also show the unique features of reification memory: virtual imitation, isolation and fuzziness. However,through writing, the author intentionally weakens this control.
