本文对美国研究型大学跨学科教育的发展历程进行了梳理:跨学科教育从开始孕育到20世纪20年代中期随着跨学科的产生而产生后,经历了形成期、发展期,到现在进入了繁荣期。在此基础上,对美国研究型大学跨学科教育的未来发展走向进行了预测。

This paper reviews the development of interdisciplinary education in American research universities.From the very beginning period to mid-1920s when interdisciplinary education came into being with the emergence of interdiscipline,interdisciplinary education experienced the formation period,the development period and now entered the flourishing period.On this basis,the future development trend of interdisciplinary education in American research universities is predicted.
