马克思和恩格斯是马克思主义新闻观的开创者,他们主办的《新莱茵报》就是他们新闻观的第一次完整实践。《新莱茵报》距今已有172年的历史了,伴随着世纪更迭的沧桑洗礼,其使得当时的国界、语言今非昔比。今天,我们将《新莱茵报》的报纸原始版面内容原汁原味地用中文版呈现给中国的学界和新闻传播业界,既感受到马克思和恩格斯放眼世界的眼光,又能够丰富我们对马克思主义新闻观的认识,这其中之政治意义和学术意义皆为不言而喻的。

Karl Marx and Frederick Engels were the originators of Marxist perspective on the news, which was put into complete practice for the first time through the publication of the Neue Rheinische Zeitung(NRZ). The NRZ has a history of 172 years. With the vicissitudes of the century, it madegreat changes to the national border and language at that time. Today, we present the original content of the NRZ in naturalChinese to the Chinese academia and press circles. The translation can not only help us see the world the way Marx and Engels did, but also take us closer to their perspective on the news. The political and academic significance of this work is self-evident.
