The close inspection device is used to check the position of switch rail or center rail of turnout. It mainly checks the close state between switch rail and stock rail or between center rail and wing rail. It also has the function of cutting off the turnout. In this paper, through the inspection and maintenance practice of the detector, the reasons for the failure of the secret detector and the methods to overcome are summarized, which is of great significance to the work of the maintenance personnel.
