Wang Yangming′s Theory of Mind and Its Value in Modern Political Philosophy

王阳明心学的现代政治价值:一是其生命哲学走向实践哲学,将道德本体置于宇宙本体的天赋之中,事实上其哲学并未远离有为的经世致用;二是从历史情境中入手,其哲学思想对当时及后世产生政治影响;三是对儒家内圣外王在政治方面考量,人人可为尧舜、人人可以战胜心中的善念恶念之差、人人可做到自己的内圣外王。

The modern political value of Wang Yangming′s Theory of Mind is,first,that his philosophy of life moves towards practical philosophy,never staying away from practical application in real life while placing the moral noumenon under the creation of universe noumenon.Second,starting from the historical situation,his philosophy had a political impact on the time and later on the following generations.The third is the political consideration of the Confucian inner sage and external king,which is a Confucian ideal saint model.According to this theory,everyone can combine his ability with integrity,everyone can overcome the difference between good and evil thoughts in his heart,and everyone can be an ideal saint in the world.
