民国时期江苏省民众教育运动的兴起与发展

The Rise and Development of Mass Education Movement in Jiangsu Province during the Period of the Republic of China

民国时期,南京国民政府在"唤起民众"的旗帜下,大力推广民众教育,江苏省民众教育运动随之兴起和发展。民众教育馆、通俗教育宣讲、实业教育、民众学校、生计教育轰轰烈烈展开,并为此设立图书馆、体育场等,提升民众文化,宣传科学,扭转社会风俗,培训技能,增强劳动者素质和生产效率,促进了当时的经济社会发展。

During the period of the Republic of China,under the banner of"arousing the masses",Nanjing national government vigorously promoted mass education.The mass education movement in Jiangsu province rose and developed accordingly.People's Education Hall,mass education propaganda,industrial education,mass education schools,livelihood education,libraries and stadiums were launched to promote the mass culture,publicize science,reverse social customs,train skills,enhance the quality of the workers and production efficiency,and promote the economic and social development at that time.
