翻译研究的中国特色与中国特色的翻译研究

The Chinese Characteristics of Translation Studies and Translation Studies with Chinese Characteristics

本文通过梳理和比较中西翻译史,提出了中国翻译研究的三大特色,即“立高标”“正译名”“重文采”,并考察了三大特色在中国翻译史四个时期的表现,进而分析这三大特色形成的历史、文化和语言因素,特别提出“双语社会”和“单语社会”是中西两大译学传统形成的重要背景。最后从新时代的要求出发,讨论了翻译特色研究的过程和结论对建设今天的翻译学的启示。

This paper puts forward three characteristics of Chinese translation studies by comparing the history of Chinese and Western translation,and examines the performance of the three characteristics in the four periods of Chinese translation history.Then analyzes the historical,cultural and linguistic factors of the formation of the three characteristics.In particular,it points out that the bilingual society and monolingual society are the important backgrounds for the formation of the two major translation traditions.Finally,following the requirements of the new era,this paper offers five suggestions for the construction of translation studies in contemporary China.
