The planning and design of land acquisition and resettlement is crucial for hydropower project construction.With the development of hydropower and construction resettlement at the upper reaches of the Yellow River,the planning and design of resettlement at the upper reaches of the Yellow River has advanced with the times in the course of nearly 70 years,and a plan that meets the requirements of the times and the actual situation of the upper reaches of the Yellow River has been proposed.The design results have provided strong,scientific and effective support for hydropower development and hydropower resettlement in the upper reaches of the Yellow River.Through the analysis of the resettlement planning and design process of typical hydropower stations in different periods,the article summarizes the practical experience and development innovation of hydropower resettlement planning and design,and demonstrates the reform spirit and immortal contributions of NWE in the development of hydropower in the upper reaches of the Yellow River.
