Lao Jiu Zhi Tang Pharmacy in Changsha was founded in the early Qing Dynasty.It has a history of nearly 300 years until the Republic of China.On the basis of historical documents,this paper summarizes the development history of Lao Jiu Zhi Tang Pharmacy in the period of the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China and its management characteristics developed in this period.It is a honesty-oriented,quality-oriented,and people-oriented pharmacy with good management,making earnest efforts to promote public benefit and putting emphasis on service and publicity.These characteristics are of great significance for the development of traditional Chinese medicine enterprises with time-honored brand and the inheritance of traditional Chinese medicine culture.
