红帮裁缝之“红”字考

The Textual Research on the“Red”Character of Hong Bang Tailor

本文以笔者积累近10年的大量第一手口述历史资料和相关历史档案(资料)、地方志等资料为基础,结合义理分析,实证考据了红帮裁缝之"红"字的来源。民间说法共有三种:一、"红帮"与"奉帮"谐音说;二、"红帮"乃"红火"之帮说;三、"红帮"为"红毛"服务之帮说。"红"字的原义最接近第三种,反映了我国近代社会转型的时代特征。

This paper is based on the author’s accumulation of a large number of first-hand oral historical materials and relevant historical archives(data),local history and other information in the past ten years.There are three kinds of folk sayings:First,it was said that the"Hong Bang"and"Feng Bang"was harmonic;Second,it was said that the"Hong Bang"was"prosperous";Third,it was said that the"Hong Bang"serviced for the"red hair"man.The original meaning of the word"red"is closest to the third type,which reflects the characteristics of the times in the social transformation of China’s modern society.
