摘要
基于2014年中国家庭追踪调查(CFPS)数据,采用教育基尼系数度量我国教育不平等程度,系统考察了教育不平等对居民幸福感的影响并分析其内在传导机制,同时运用工具变量法对模型的内生性问题进行控制。研究结果表明:教育不平等与居民幸福感水平呈负相关关系,教育越不平等居民幸福感越低;教育不平等对居民幸福感产生影响的作用机制是通过影响个体的受教育程度和收入水平;相比于没有孩子的个体,教育不平等对有孩子个体幸福感的影响程度更大。政策启示:政府应加强对教育工作的重视和资源倾斜从而降低教育的不平等程度,促进居民幸福感水平的提升。
Based on the data of China Family Panel Studies(CFPS)in 2014,this paper analyzes the impact of education inequality on residents subjective well-being and its internal mechanism,and uses the instrumental variable method to control the endogenous problem of the model.The results show that:(1)education inequality had a negative impact on residents subjective well-being;(2)education inequality had a negative impact on residents educational level and income,which was the mechanism by which education inequality affected residents well-being;(3)education inequality had a greater impact on the happiness of individuals with children than those without children.Policy implications:the government should pay more attention and allot more resources to education to reduce education inequality and promote residents well-being.
