摘要
以往研究对形容词"真""假"有无程度特征存有争议,且对"人造真皮""假酒"等组合的语义难题也缺乏准确刻画。"真""假"是多维形容词,具有逻辑、标准和评价三个维度。"真"是合取多维形容词,要求所有维度为真;"假"是析取多维形容词,满足任一维度即可言说。该分析能明晰"真""假"的程度特征与分布环境,对组合语义做出正确解析,并为界定等级性形容词的标准提供全新的视角。
Previous analyses have no consensus on whether Zhen(真)and Jia(假)have degree property,as well as how to deal with the combinations like Renzao Zhenpi(人造真皮)"artificial genuine leather"and Jiajiu(假酒)"fake wine".This paper assumes that both Zhen(真)and Jia(假)are multidimensional adjectives and encode three dimensions,i.e.,logical,standard and evaluative dimension.Zhen(真)is conjunctive while Jia(假)is disjunctive when they operate over adjectival dimensions.Thus,this analysis can predict the degree property and distribution of Zhen(真)and Jia(假),explain the semantics of their combinations with nouns,and shed new light on identifying gradable adjectives.
