核糖体多肽(RiPPs)通过核糖体合成,经翻译修饰,得到一种结构和功能多样的天然产物。套索肽具有套索样结构,线性肽在翻译后成熟过程中“打结”,是RiPPs一个亚类。套索肽对蛋白酶和变性剂具有显著的耐受性。已知的套索肽可以抑制酶活或颉颃受体,赋予其抗菌特性。文章综述套索肽结构、抗菌活性、分子靶标、作用机理和应用前景的最新进展。
Ribosomally synthesized and post-translationally modified peptides(RiPPs)are a large group of natural products with a high degree of structural diversity and a wide variety of bioactivities.Lasso peptides form a growing subclass of bioactive bacterial peptides that are characterized by a specific knotted structure,the lasso fold.Lasso peptides are remarkably resistant to proteases and denaturing agents.Lasso peptides which inhibit enzymes or antagonize receptors,confering antimicrobial properties on some of them.The high stability and their biological activities have attracted much interest.This article described the structure and function of all currently known lasso peptides as well as summarize what is known about the targets of these molecules and the advance on the application potential.
