The oral historical archives of ethnic minorities have epoch-making significance and value for the inheritance of national history and the memory of national society.They are expressions of various traditional cultures that have been passed down from generation to generation and regarded as part of their cultural heritage.This paper analyzes the theoretical research and practice of the oral historical archives of ethnic minorities,puts forward the principles and procedures for the compilation of oral historical archives of ethnic minorities based on database construction,and explores a complete set of compilation methods and requirements,which promotes the digital protection and research work of ethnic minority oral historical archives in China to a certain extent.
