摘要
中外合作办学项目中的英语课程教学与大学的公共英语、专业英语教学既有相似性又有不同性,应对其教学目标进行准确定位,并实现特色化教学改革。ESP理论结合了学生学习的实际需求,体现了专业特点,在掌握听说读写技能的基础上,培养学生使用英语进行专业领域内交流、交际的能力,这一理论为中外合作办学项目进行英语教学改革提供了思路。以榆林学院中外合作办学项目为例,基于ESP理论,对项目英语课程教学改革进行探索分析。
There are similarities and differences between English teaching in sino-foreign cooperative education programs and that in college English or professional English.Based on students’need,ESP theory focuses on professional English with the basic skills of listening,speaking,reading and writing,to cultivate students’ability to communicate in the professional field in English,which enlightens the reform of English teaching in sino-foreign cooperative education programs.This paper takes the sino-foreign cooperative education program of Yulin University as an example,to explore and analyze its English teaching reform based on ESP theory.
