10月16日,市政府外办举办的“讲重庆故事交世界朋友”比赛正式开讲。市政府外办主任、市对外友协会长章勇武表示,对外讲好重庆故事、打造重庆市良好形象,在积极促进对外友好交流等方面发挥着重要的作用,是重庆外事人职责所在。要在短时间内让宾客了解重庆,并给对方留下深刻印象,不仅要充满感情地讲,还要结合国际重大关切,深挖我市发展方向、文化内涵,讲出深度、讲出温度。更要结合我市中西部国际交往中心建设、双城经济圈建设、大数据智能化建设、设领友城等重点工作,与国际社会共享成果、共话发展。
On October 16, the competition of "Tell the story ofChongqing and make friends worldwide" was heldby Foreign Affairs Office.Zhang Yongwu. DirectorGeneral of the Foreign Affairs Office and Presidentof the Chongqing People's Association for Friendshipwith Foreign Countries, said that telling the story ofChongqing to foreign guests and building the imageof Chongqing well plays an important role in activelypromoting friendly exchanges with foreign countriesand is the responsibility of Foreign Affairs Officestaff. In order to give the guests more ungerstaningabout Chongqing and leave them a deep impressionin a short time, we should focus on Chongqing'sdevelopment direction and cultural connatation inlight of major international concerns with depth andaffection. Furthermore, we should share achievementsand discussions regarding to the key work of buildingan international exchange center in the Mlawest China,constructing a twin-city economic circle,forging big data intelligence,and setting up friendlycities with the internatiohal community.
