The United States has listed China as its main strategic competitor,pushing Sino-US competition to the forefront.The competition between China and the United States is,first of all,a competition backed on national power.However,it is national capability that play a more significant role than that of power.The available resources that are jointly determined by the society scale and the level of productivity development,the existing power transformed from resources,and the structure that the power rooted are the three basic aspects of national capabilities.In the competition between China and the United States,China’s social scale advantage constitutes a long-term pressure on the United States,yet the strength of the United States as the super power constitutes a realistic pressure on China.Ensuring military security,China will crack the two handed rivalry strategry of striking and suppressing of the United States.After that,long-term competition based on the potential and optimization of each other’s structure would be in full swing.As the resonance effect between China’s social scale and the structure rooted in national power is released to a greater extent,the changes in the balance of power between China and the United States will gradually become dynamic and stable.After mutual adjustment,China and the United States will form a new understanding of the relationship between each other,evolving from competition to more effective interaction of cooperation and competition,which would lay the foundation of the new world order.
