Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of fire needling plus wet wound-healing dressing for wound healing after treating chronic refractory wounds.Method Eighty-six patients with chronic refractory wounds were allocated, using a random number table,to control and experimental groups, with 43 cases in each group. The control group received wet healing therapy and the experimental group, fire needling in addition.Wound healing rates, wound granulation growth scores, the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)scores and adverse reaction incidences were compared between the two groups after treatment of 7,14 and 21 days. The clinical therapeutic effects were also compared between the two groups.Result The wound healing rate was higher in the experimental group than in the control group after treatment of 7,14 and 21 days(P<0.05).The wound granulation growth score was lower in the experimental group than in the control group after treatment of 14 and 21 days(P<0.05).The VAS score was significantly lower in the experimental group than in the control group after treatment of 7 and 21 days(P<0.05).Conclusion Fire needling plus wet dressing can effectively promote granulation growth and wound healing and relieve the patient’pain without adverse reactions, which improve the clinical therapeutic effect.
