摘要
国内外既有评论较多地对威廉·华兹华斯的女性观持“一刀切”之态,认为其是女性代言人,抑或是男权捍卫者。结合《序曲》以及埃德蒙·伯克的美学理论等文本及其现实生活境况重新审视,发现威廉·华兹华斯既在审美体验中同时肯定女性气质的“秀丽”与男性经验的“崇高”的双重审美,又在实际生活中认可女性具有同男性一致的创作价值和鉴赏能力。威廉·华兹华斯对女性的果敢思考和有效行动超越了浪漫主义时期的主流话语的禁锢,同时也预设了当前人类命运共同体所关涉的性别要义。
Scholars from home and abroad often takes a one-size-fits-all approach in their critical analyses of William Wordsworth's concepts on women.She has been regarded as a feminist or an advocate of masculine power in their eyes.A united analysis of The Prelude,aesthetic theory by Edmund Burke and Wordsworth's real life contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of her.On one hand,Wordsworth shows equal respect to elegance demonstrated by women and the nobleness of male experience in her aesthetic feeling.On the other hand,she believes that women have had the same abilities of creation and appreciation as men in normal life.Wordsworth's bold thinking and effective actions towards female surpasses the prejudice of the mainstream discourse in the romanticism,and also presupposes the key points concerning equal gender in the building of an international community with a shared future for mankind nowadays.
