一例非典型发作的输入性恶性疟原虫病例

AN IMPORTED CASE OF PLASMODIUM FALCIPARUM WITH ATYPICAL SYNDROME

本文报道了一例非典型发作的恶性疟原虫感染病例。疟原虫快速诊断试剂盒RDT检测提示为恶性疟或疟原虫复合感染;厚薄血膜镜检仅见恶性疟环形体,巢式PCR最终确定为输入性恶性疟。该病例诊治过程提示,恶性疟早期可出现腹泻等不典型症状,易漏诊,应结合其流行病史进行综合判别。

An imported case of Plasmodium falciparum infection with atypical syndrome was reported in Tian'men city,Hubei Province.After administration,the patient was tested with rapid diagnostic kit(RDT)for Plasmodium,and positive results suggests the patient were infected with P.falciparum or related species coinfection.Only ring form P.falciparum were observed in the thin and thick blood smear under light microscopes.The thick blood smear yield ca.6872 parasites on each microliter blood sample.And finally,nested PCR confirmed the infection with identified P.falciparum parasites.Considered the Africa visit history and malaria like syndrome appeared before his administration,the case should be an imported case caused by P.falciparum infection.In the early stage of the imported malaria case,atypical symptoms such as diarrhea occurred should be paid attention to avoid missed diagnosis.
