As a country under the rule of law,law plays a vital role in safeguarding the rights of its citi⁃zens.The quality of law is one of the key contents of the quality of Chinese citizens.The level of the quality of law of citizens has a direct impact on the construction process of China's rule of law.The key elements of Chi⁃nese citizens'legal quality include four aspects:legal consciousness,legal awe,legal trust and legal ability.Legal consciousness is the basis for the improvement of citizens'legal quality;legal awe is the key to the im⁃provement of citizens'legal quality;legal trust is the spiritual support for improving citizens'legal quality;le⁃gal ability is the goal of improving citizens'legal quality.Therefore,it is a systematic and long-term project to improve the legal quality of Chinese citizens.It requires the joint efforts of the party,the government,judicial organs and citizens.
